現時AAPAM已收留了逾百頭動物，當中有部份是身體有缺陷或有問題的貓狗，而這些貓狗大部份都是沒有人願意收養。基於「動物應享有的生存權利」的信念下，我們願意承諾照顧牠們，直至終老。但要將理念實踐並持之以恆，我們則需要一筆龐大的費用支持，而AAPAM的〔動物助養計劃〕就正正為我們一主要收入來源。只要大家每月捐出$88，便可以助養其中一隻動物，讓牠們安享晚年。與此同時，這個計劃亦特別適合一些不便在家中飼養動物的朋友，他們可以在閒時到會址探訪其助養的動物，帶牠們嬉戲，散步....一享與寵物相處的喜悅。希望你們一同參與這富有意義的〔動物助養計劃〕，讓失寵再得寵，謝謝！
Until now, AAPAM has been accomplishing parenting
and rescuing projects of more than a hundred animals and among them are mostly
elderly, handicapped or cross-breed animals who find it difficult to capture
the heart of people. Working towards our faith of "Animal's right to
subsist", we promise to help and look after them till their ends. In
order to put our faith into practice, we are in need of a huge supporting
fee and absolutely, it can be sourced from our "Animal Patronage Program".
With just MOP$88 per month, you can already patronage one abandoned animal,
ensuring it can enjoy the rest of life. At the same time, this program also
enables those animal lovers who cannot own a pet at home. They can visit and
enjoy a great time with their patronaged animals in our association who can
accompany them with devotion and life. AAPAM sincerely invite you to support
our Animal Patronage Program through which you can save and sustain these
unfortunate animals. Simply, with your generosity, we can support more neglected
and defenseless animals.

2003-2004 年曾努力去適應多個不同的家庭，但最後也是同一命運就是被“遺棄”，因此對人類失去信心，導致精神不穩定，更常常咬人......最後被送到AAPAM，這裡的人對我很好，他們不希望我再受到被遺棄的痛苦，決定讓我在此終老，現在我的情緒比以往穩定了很多，連工作人員也讚我乖乖。

“Starting from 2003 through the year to
2004, I have been striving hard to adapt into many different homes, but
finally, I could not find my way out of the destiny of being deserted.
Thereafter, I was in great desperate and people could hardly capture my
trust anymore. I even bit them due to my unconsciousness. At last, I was
saved and sent to AAPAM. Nursing here is excellent! They protected me
from desertion and gave me a permanent home here to enjoy the rest of
my life. They endlessly provide me with love and warmth. No wonder why
my emotion is turning stable now! They even praise me for being a good
boy!”

初三
2005年的新年對我來說十分難忘......人人開開心心過新年，唯獨我孤零零在街上流連，
後來幸好一外籍姐姐帶我回家，可惜得不到她媽媽的歡心，姐姐被迫將我放棄。在大年初三我來到AAPAM，但畢竟我是一隻極平凡的唐狗，所有領養者都不會對我抱很大興趣或多望我一眼！但在這裏工作人員也很鍚我！希望得到大家支持，使更多像我一樣的動物得到溫暖！

"2005 is an unforgettable year for
me! While everyone was preparing themselves enthusiastically for the new
coming year, I was all alone by myself wandering around on the cold street,
searching for a shelter. At first, I thought I was lucky enough to come
upon a good soul who was willing to take me home. However, it was a pity
that I failed to capture the heart of her mother and I was forced to leave
the place again. I remember it clearly, I first arrived at AAPAM on the
third day of the New Year but till now, not even one adopter ever glanced
at me. I know, most likely it's because I'm just of an ordinary and common
breed! However, AAPAM treats me and every dog here equally! Please, help
us find a home! We need your support!"

2005年，我8歲時的某一個晚上，一位太太見我在街上呆等，主人不見了！怎麼辦！太太陪我在街上等了個多小時，沒辦法之下向AAPAM求助，最後我便來到這裏。我年紀這麼大、眼又看不清......很難找到想領養我的人，雖然如此，我現在在這裏也很開心，我用鼻鼻都可以認得所有工作人員呢！

"On a certain night at 2005, I was
already 8 years old when I became a stray on the street. What could I
do? I was purely helpless! I was waiting woodenly and shivering alone
on the street. Not long later, I recognized a mistress beside who has
been accompanying me waiting for more than an hour. She took pity on me
and without any alternatives, she sought AAPAM for help, then I was brought
here. I aged and together with deteriorating eye sight, the possibility
for me to be adopted decreased considerably. Yet, I find myself in great
heaven here in AAPAM! Tell you one thing; I'm able to recognize all of
my companions just by smell! Amazing ah!"

記得2005年5月的時候，我自己一個係條街度，右眼受了重傷，不停流血，好痛...好痛......後來有人見到我咁可憐的情況便致電AAPAM
前來救我。工作人員到場見狀便立即把我帶到診所急救，後醫生因怕細菌感染到另一隻眼而導致失明及有生命危險，於是便要即時取出受傷了的眼球，經過工作人員的悉心照料後，現在已經康復後並一直留在中心了。

毛毛 (Mo Mo)
"I'm glad that I'm in tolerable
health now. Actually, I was in heartrending condition in May 2005! Loneliness,
serious eye injury...can you imagine? I was bleeding to death! I found
this pain unbearable! Pedestrians felt sorrow at me and phoned AAPAM,
searching for help. I was sent to the vet for emergency treatment once
helpers from AAPAM arrived. To avoid infecting my other eye and putting
my life into danger, my damaged eyeball was removed. I'm thankful to AAPAM
for taking care of and providing me such a warm place for recovery."

我爸爸十歲我亦都有七歲了，在2005年我的主人在家庭壓力下，要把我父子倆送往政府狗房，但他怕我們因年紀太大很難有人會領養。於是向AAPAM
申請收留，幸好不需輪候太久我倆便得以被收留，相信我倆父子也應該在此終老了！

"Time flies. My father is 10 and
I'm 7 years old already, but my memory is still fresh. My ex-master sent
us to the Canil Municipal due to family constraints. Since he was worried
that it would be difficult for us to be adopted at these ages, therefore,
he applied for a shelter in AAPAM. Fortunately, our case was accepted
and we were brought here soon after. We are glad that we can stay here
for the rest of our lives."

2004年我出生在一間士多，不久後被收養了，以為會有幸福的生活，誰知原來這是惡夢的開始！我不但受到不適當的照顧，更遭到玩弄及虐打，最後無良主人更將我送回士多，原因是暑假已完結，已經玩夠了！
因為受到這些人的殘忍對待，令我對人類失望及失去信心。當我初來到AAPAM時對工作人員十分凶惡，後來經過她們努力與我溝通及加倍愛護後，現在我已經慢慢對人類回復信心，而且比之前友善多了！

- Spicy Girl)
"I was born in a store and right
after I was adopted. I thought I really met fortune, but who could realize
that this was, instead, the beginning of a horrible nightmare! I was not
being properly attended and even being abused when I was still a puppy.
I was returned to the store eventually. Ha! You know what's the reason
for this? They claimed that they found it boring and dull already in making
fun of me! Oh, God! I'm not a toy, I have feelings! Although I was rescued
by AAPAM, I was unfriendly in the first place since I lost trust in people.
However, helpers here in AAPAM strive hard to communicate with me and
help with my illness. Soon I was moved by their cherishment and now we
are all good friends!"

2005 年的農曆年三十晚我不見了主人，驚慌之下進入了一間時裝店，店主見這麼晚還未有人接我回家，於是致電AAPAM將我接走。在人家快樂團圓的日子裡，我竟被拋棄，真是一個一生不能磨滅的記憶，幸運的是我能來到這個大家庭；一個令我能安心活下去的地方。

"My stray experience was getting
started while the year 2005 was approaching. I entered a boutique and
the shopkeeper allowed me to stay when he started realized that none was
actually coming for me. He then approached AAPAM for sending someone to
fetch me. A day which was remarkable for every well-being on earth was
the date that I was abandoned. Frankly, I'm sad to tell that this incident
could hardly be erased from my memory. Last but not the least, I don't
quite understand what actually is meant by the word "family"
not only after I met AAPAM. I finally got a home!"

某天清早，眼睛化膿的我正瑟縮街角，遇到剛趕著上班的AAPAM人員，已經快要遲到的她對我說：「乖，不要走開等我回來幫你」稍後她真的回來了，還帶多一位姐姐及哥哥來幫手，但因為我一隻眼睛已看不見而害怕逃跑。
經過兩個多小時才將我捉到並帶往做手術，但由於細菌感染令左眼也失明。現在我雖然不能看東西，但在照顧我的工作人員家中生活得很好，還能行走自如呢！

“Early in the morning I was lucky enough
to come upon an AAPAM helper who was on her way hurrying to work. It’s
about to be late for work, she told me to stand still and wait for her
to return for help. I hesitated, but finally I stayed. She didn’t lie
to me, just as expected, she returned together with two more companions!
I couldn’t see clearly with my inflamed eye, yet I was too scared and
ran. We have been struggling for more than two hours before they could
get me to the vet for operation. Sadly, because of serious infection,
I lastly ended up with blindness. Although I’m in complete darkness, I’m
doing absolutely fine here in the home of one of the AAPAM helper.”

- Happiness)
“My right eye was already blind when I
first arrived here at AAPAM. Till now they couldn’t figure out what exactly
happened to me. Yet, although I’m handicapped, they haven’t given me up.
They even pay more attention on me and care me much. Interestingly enough,
I'm not only gaining love here, but also weight! See! I got big tummy!”

2005年一個晚上，AAPAM的工作人員接到求助電話，知道我在鏡湖醫院的花園內流連了很多天，後來終被醫院負責人發現並下令要把我趕走。因之前曾被街上的人用棍打我，因此我對任何人都十分恐懼，在平時餵我食物的醫院看更叔叔協助下，工作人員也花費了個多小時才能把我帶回中心。
剛來的時候我總是把自己藏在黑暗的一角，吃東西也要等待沒有任何人才敢走出來。經過個多月時間我才對工作人員開始產生一點信任，幾個月的今天，我也開始與一些小狗做了朋友，雖然仍然很怕生，但也不會再將自己藏在一角了。

“On one occasional night, I lingered
in the garden of Kiang Wu Hospital where I finally was being kicked out.
I was being beaten up on the streets thereafter, thus making me fear of
human. With the help of a good soul, AAPAM came for me. It took them no
less than an hour to bring me here. At first, because of psychological
problem, I used to hide myself in the dark corner. Even for food, I have
to wait until nobody’s around. Not only after a few months that I started
to build a little trust in the AAPAM companions. Although I’m still of
a little bit timid, at least I’m able to stay out of my usual dark corner.
Tell you a secret, they treat me like a son and I'm even making friends
here!”
